1. Navigate to the Automation Builder
Log in to OneShop.
From the left-hand menu, go to Automations.
Click Create Automations to enter the builder.
2. Choose a Pre-Built Automation Type
You’ll see four common automation templates:
New Customer – Welcome message after first purchase.
Win Back (31/63/92 days) – Messages after a customer hasn’t shopped in 31, 63, or 92 days.
Purchase Check-In – Simple check-in message after a purchase (no reward).
Click the automation card to expand and view the details.
3. Customize the Reward and Message Delay
Choose a reward type:
Dollars Off – Auto-applied in POS (Lightspeed, Shopify).
Custom – e.g., “10% off” or “Buy one get one.”
Adjust bonus validity (e.g., 14 days).
Set the message delay (e.g., 3 days after event).
Click Edit Further to customize in more detail.
4. Edit the Automation Message and Email
Inside the detailed editor:
Preview both email and SMS.
Modify the subject line, body copy, or reward.
Add an image if desired.
Confirm the default store address displays correctly for customers with multiple locations.
5. Add and Activate the Automation
Once satisfied, click Add Selected.
The automation will be added to your main automation list in OneShop.
Navigate back to Automations, locate the newly added flow, and click Publish to activate it.
Repeat this for any other automation you wish to enable.
