1. Set Your Broadcast Title and Template
In the Advanced Editor, begin by giving your broadcast a clear title (e.g., “Friday In-Store Event”) for easy future reference.
Choose a template if available — this auto-fills your broadcast with pre-designed content, either self-created or from your corporate team.
2. Decide on Client Contact Inclusion
Default: Excludes clients who received any communication (broadcast, automation, or 1:1 message) in the last 24 hours.
To include them, select the “Include clients contacted in the last 24 hours” checkbox.
3. Set Sender Details
Choose a user from your account to send the message from (for internal tracking).
Set the Sender Name your customers will see (e.g., “Mercer Street Store”).
Confirm or update the sending email address if needed.
4. Add or Update Bonuses and Promotions
If carried over from a basic broadcast, remove it to start fresh.
Click “Add Bonus or Promotion”:
Choose from:
Dollar Amount (e.g., $5 off),
Coupon (e.g., % off, BOGO),
Custom (e.g., “Buy one, get one free”)
Set start and end dates for redemption.
5. Customize Your Text Message
Use merge fields like
{first_name}or{loyalty_points}to personalize.Enhance your text with:
Design Graphic (via OneShop’s built-in editor)
Take Photo (if on mobile)
Upload/Select Photo
Shop With Bag to add product links or images from your store or POS (e.g., Shopify).
📝 Note: If you see “0 clients,” you may either:
Not be set up for text messaging yet.
Not have customers who have opted into text marketing (consented).
6. Design Your Email
Choose between:
HTML Graphic Email (default, includes designed images)
Plain Text Email (for simple, text-only communication)
Set:
Subject Line
Email Preheader (shows below subject in most inboxes)
Click “Edit HTML Email” to access the drag-and-drop editor:
Modify content blocks
Add images, buttons, social links, and more
7. Define Your Recipients
Choose send method:
Text or Email
Email Only
Text Only
Based on your selection, OneShop shows the total number of subscribers available to contact.
This list dynamically adjusts based on your platform opt-ins (email vs. SMS).
8. Apply Filters to Target Specific Customers
Click Filter to refine your recipient list:
Filter by purchase history, product tags, customer attributes, and more.
Create segmented, personalized campaigns that improve relevance and performance.
9. Save and Send
After setting everything:
Save your work often using “Save Draft”
Test and preview as needed (see prior tutorials for testing)
Proceed to Send or Schedule your campaign (covered in a separate tutorial)
