1. Start a New Broadcast

  • Navigate to the Campaigns section in OneShop.

  • Click Create Basic Broadcast.

  • A new Basic Broadcast draft will open, where you’ll build your message.

A Basic Broadcast sends your message automatically based on each customer’s subscription preferences.

2. Choose How You Want to Send the Message

At the top of the broadcast builder, select your delivery method:

  • Text or Email (Default):
Sends a text if the customer is text‑opted-in. If not, sends an email.

  • Email Only:
    Sends only to email subscribers.

  • Text Only:
    Sends only to text subscribers.

3. Write Your Campaign Message

  • Begin typing your message in the message field.

  • The preview will update in real time for both text and email.

To personalize your message:

  • Click First Name to insert a dynamic first‑name placeholder.
Example: “Hey {{firstName}}, we’re having an event this weekend!”

💡 Tip: Save your draft frequently so you don’t lose your work.

4. Customize Text and Email Separately (Optional)

By default, your text and email content stay perfectly synced.

If you want them to differ:

  • Uncheck Auto-Copy Between Fields.

  • Edit your text and email versions independently.

Example:
You may add extra details or longer formatting to the email version only.

5. Add Images to Your Message

  • Click Add Image.

  • Choose from:

    • Uploads

    • Upload Image (to add a new file from your computer)

Your selected image will appear in the email preview and MMS preview when applicable.

Be sure to save your draft again.

6. Add an Email Subject Line

If your broadcast includes email delivery, enter a subject line.

Example: “This Weekend Only…”

A checkmark will appear when the subject is complete.

7. Add a Bonus or Reward (Optional)

If you want this broadcast to include a special offer:

  • Click Next to open the Bonus / Reward section.

  • Choose between:

    • Dollar Reward (e.g., $5 off)

    • Custom Reward (e.g., Buy One, Get One Free Pants)

Then set reward availability:

  • Select a start date and start time

  • Select an end date and end time

This determines when customers can redeem the reward in your POS.

Save your draft again once complete.

8. Send Yourself a Test Message

Before sending to customers, always test:

  • Click Send Test

  • Enter your phone number and/or email

  • Send the test message to review formatting, images, and links

You can send multiple tests to yourself or your team.

9. Send or Schedule the Broadcast

When you’re ready:

To send immediately:

  • Click Send

  • A confirmation window will appear—choose Confirm to send

To schedule for later:

  • Select a future date and time

  • Click Confirm (this sets a preliminary schedule)

  • Then click Schedule Broadcast (yellow button)
    This finalizes the scheduled send.

You can remove or adjust the schedule at any time before delivery.

10. Switch to Advanced Mode (Optional)

If you need more control:

  • Click Make Advanced

  • This opens the full editor, allowing you to:

    • Add client filters

    • Target customers by purchase behavior

    • Customize the design further

    • Refine email formatting

All sending, testing, and scheduling features work the same in Advanced mode.
