How to Connect Your Lightspeed R Point of Sale System to OneShop

Learn how to connect your Lightspeed R POS system to OneShop and start syncing your customer data in just a few simple steps.

1. Navigate to Settings

  • Log in to your OneShop account.

  • Go to the left-hand menu bar and click Settings → Account.


2. Start the POS Connection Process

  • On the Account page, click the “Add Connection” button.

  • From the dropdown, select Lightspeed Retail (R) as your POS system.

  • Click Submit.

This tells OneShop that your account will be linked to Lightspeed R.


3. Confirm the Integration

  • After submitting, you should see a new section titled “Admin Lightspeed Retail” appear.

  • If you don’t see it immediately, refresh the page.

  • If it's still missing, try the Add Connection process again.


4. Authorize the Connection

  • Click the “Add Lightspeed” button within the new section.

  • This will open a Lightspeed login prompt — make sure you're logged in with an admin account.

  • Approve the request to authorize OneShop to access your Lightspeed data.


5. Wait for the Data Sync

  • After authorization, you'll see a message confirming the integration has begun.

  • Data syncing can take several hours up to a full day depending on your customer database size.


6. Monitor the Sync Progress

  • Navigate to the Home page → Check the Loyalty Members count.

    • This number reflects how many customers with an email or phone number have synced.

  • For a detailed view:

    • Go to CRM → Clients

    • Click Confirm to load your full client list.

Repeat this step to check progress over time.
