How to Import Customers into OneShop from an External Platform

Easily upload customer data into OneShop using a CSV file, even without a native POS integration.

1. Navigate to the Import Tool

  • Go to the left-hand menu in OneShop.

  • Click on CRMImport.


2. Download the Import Template

  • Click the download icon to export OneShop’s import CSV template.

  • The template includes the following fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

    • Phone

    • Tag(s)

    • Note

    • Anniversary

    • Birthday

    • Loyalty Points


3. Fill In Your Data

  • Open the downloaded file and input your customer information.

  • Minimum recommended fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Email

    • Phone

  • Optional:

    • Add tags (e.g., “outside import” or campaign-specific labels).

      • Use commas to separate multiple tags per customer.

    • Include loyalty points, anniversaries, birthdays, and notes as needed.


4. Save the Completed File

  • Save the file in CSV format on your computer.


5. Upload the File into OneShop

  • Return to the Import page in OneShop.

  • Click “Choose File” and select your saved CSV.


6. Assign a Store Location

  • Select the appropriate store location for the imported customers:

    • Choose a specific store if the list belongs to that location.

    • Or choose the All Group for company-wide access.


7. (Optional) Opt-In for Text Messaging

  • If you have explicit written consent to text these customers:

    • Check the “Opt-in” box.

    • Click “Accept” to confirm legal compliance.

⚠️ Only check this box if you have verified, written opt-in permission.


8. Finalize the Import

  • Click “Save” to begin importing.

  • Processing times vary:

    • Small lists (a few hundred) import in minutes.

    • Larger lists (10,000+) may take up to 24–48 hours.
