Configuring Customer Facing Mode on the OneShop Tablet

Configure your OneShop tablet to run in Customer Terminal mode for check-ins and loyalty engagement.

1. Access Terminal Setup on the Tablet

  • On the left-hand side of the tablet, scroll down through the navigation.

  • Tap on “Terminal Setup” in the menu.


2. Choose Between Cashier and Customer Terminals

  • You’ll see two options:

    • Cashier Terminal – for staff-facing use.

    • Customer Terminal – for the customer-facing screen.

  • Tap “Customer Terminal.”


3. Select the Appropriate Register

  • Tap “Select Terminal.”

  • A list of registers will appear:

    • If you're using an integrated POS, it will show your actual register names.

    • If you're non-integrated, the options might appear as Store Name or Station 1, etc.


4. Confirm the Terminal Selection

  • Tap to select the correct terminal. The selected option will highlight in blue — make sure this happens.

  • Hit “OK” to confirm.

  • A message will appear showing it's connecting.


5. View the Customer-Facing Display

  • Once connected, the tablet will switch to Terminal View.

  • You will now see:

    • Your custom background image (which you can personalize).

    • The phone number check-in pad, where customers enter their number to check in.
