Using Outreach Lists for Targeted Campaigns in OneShop

This guide explains how to create and manage outreach lists for customer engagement in OneShop.

Updated over 8 months ago

1. Creating an Outreach List

  • Go to the Campaigns page in the OneShop app.

  • Select Create Outreach List to start a new outreach campaign.

  • As an admin, this list will be visible to your entire team, but each associate will only see customers assigned to them.

2. Naming and Describing the Outreach List

  • Title: Choose a name that reflects the purpose of the outreach (e.g., Weekend Event).

  • Description: Add a message for internal team reference, like “Please reach out to clients about this weekend’s event.”

3. Set Outreach List Scope

  • Location-Specific Lists: By default, outreach lists are available to all locations. To target a specific store, use the dropdown to select one (e.g., Minnesota).

  • Important Note: Although the full customer count will appear, only associates in the chosen location will see their assigned clients.

4. Selecting List Type

  • Ongoing Outreach List: No specific dates, dynamically updates daily with new customers matching your filter.

  • One-Time Outreach List: Set start and end dates, ideal for time-limited events or promotions (e.g., weekend events).

  • Dynamic Updating: Both list types add new customers to the list if they meet the criteria, even after the list is created.

5. Define Audience Filters (Optional)

  • Filtering Options: Filter by purchase behavior, product preferences (e.g., customers who bought Nike), and more.

  • Example: To create a list for customers who recently bought Nike, set up a filter specifying “Nike” and the relevant date range.

6. Add a Recommended Template

  • Attach a recommended message template for associates to use, such as a pre-written email or text message with a graphic.

  • Associates can edit the template when reaching out but will have a starting point for their messages.

7. Save and Review the Outreach List

  • Click Save to finalize the outreach list.

  • The new outreach list will appear in the Campaigns list, where you can:

    • See details (e.g., title, description, applicable locations).

    • Adjust the template, start date, or end date as needed.

8. Monitor Outreach Progress

  • Tracking: View the number of clients assigned and how many have been contacted (e.g., 0 of 785).

  • Not Contacted vs. Contacted: Move clients between these sections as outreach is completed, providing real-time visibility into campaign progress.

9. Handling Contacted and Uncontacted Clients

  • In a One-Time List:

    • Clients move to the "Contacted" section after interaction during the set date range.

  • In an Ongoing List:

    • The list updates based on criteria and contact history, showing clients who haven’t been contacted in the last 14 days.

10. Collaborative Client Outreach

  • Team Collaboration: Associates can work on the same outreach list. If a team member contacts a client, they move to “Contacted,” avoiding duplicate outreach.

  • Best Practice: Before reaching out, review the client’s profile to ensure they haven’t been contacted recently by another team member.

This guide simplifies the process of setting up outreach lists in OneShop, enabling structured, efficient engagement with designated client groups.
