1. Look Up Customer in Heartland Retail POS
Open Heartland Retail and add the customer to the ticket as usual.
No Need for Additional Lookup: The system automatically displays their marketing status, points balance, and visits until next reward.
2. View Reward Details
After adding the customer, their rewards status will appear, including:
Current points balance.
Progress on their six-box reward card (e.g., "6 boxes to next reward").
Claim Rewards: Select Claim Rewards to view the customer’s full reward card in OneShop.
3. Redeem Rewards for Discount
In the OneShop app, view the customer’s rewards history and current card status.
Redeem Reward: Click Redeem to apply the earned discount directly to the transaction in Heartland Retail.
The discount will automatically adjust the total purchase amount.
4. Apply Discount to a Gift Card (Optional)
If the customer wants the reward applied to a gift card:
Select Gift Card within the Heartland POS.
Apply the discount to the gift card balance.
The discount will show as a payment, reducing the total accordingly.
5. Complete the Purchase
Finalize the transaction by selecting Complete Purchase.
The applied reward or discount will appear on the completed receipt, providing the customer with confirmation of the redeemed points.
This streamlined process in Heartland Retail, enhanced with OneShop rewards integration, allows for quick application of customer rewards, enhancing checkout efficiency.
