Redeeming Rewards with Payment Type in Lightspeed R

Learn how to check and redeem loyalty rewards directly in Lightspeed R with OneShop integration for a seamless checkout experience.

1. Open a Ticket in Lightspeed R

  • Begin by opening a ticket in Lightspeed R as usual.

  • Add the customer to the ticket by searching their name (e.g., "Nick").


2. Access Loyalty Status

  • After adding the customer, select the OneShop Loyalty button to view loyalty information.

  • Note: To see reward details, add at least one item to the ticket first.


3. Review Customer Rewards

  • After adding an item, the loyalty status will display:

    • Total points.

    • Available rewards (based on the loyalty program type: box, tiered, or linear).

  • Check Status Regularly: It’s important to review loyalty status for returning customers who may have redeemable rewards.


4. Redeem Available Rewards

  • Choose a reward:

    • Redeem Specific Reward: Click a reward from the list to apply it.

    • Redeem All Rewards: Select Redeem All to apply all available rewards at once.

  • Rewards will automatically apply to the ticket, deducting the appropriate amount (e.g., $25 or $75).


5. Remove or Adjust Rewards (Optional)

  • Remove Rewards:

    • Go back to the OneShop Loyalty button.

    • Select Remove Rewards to reverse the applied rewards from the ticket.

  • Log or Adjust Points:

    • Use the Log Points option to manually adjust points or visits for the customer.

    • If using the box program, you can adjust box counts or total points.


6. Complete the Transaction

  • Finalize the ticket in Lightspeed R with the rewards applied, or proceed without applying rewards if none were available.


This integration with OneShop simplifies the loyalty rewards process in Lightspeed R, allowing you to efficiently manage customer loyalty points and rewards directly from the POS system.
