How to Quickly Find a Client in OneShop through Search

Learn how to quickly locate customer profiles in OneShop using the search bar, view client details, and access messaging tools.

🔎 1. Use the Client Search Bar

When you're on the sales floor or working with a customer, the fastest way to locate a client is using the search bar.

  1. Navigate to the top-right corner of the OneShop platform.

  2. Click the search bar.

  3. Type the customer’s name.

💡 The easiest method is usually searching by last name.


🧑‍💼 2. Understand Client Assignment Indicators

When search results appear, you may notice dots next to some client names.

These indicate clients assigned to you as an associate.

  • Dot present → Client belongs to your client book.

  • No dot → Client is assigned to someone else or unassigned.


👤 3. Open the Client Profile

To view customer details:

  1. Click the client’s name from the search results.

  2. This opens the client profile, where you can see:

    • Customer information

    • Purchase history

    • Messaging options


📄 4. View Additional Client Information

If you need more details:

  1. Click the three-dot menu on the profile.

  2. This reveals additional information such as:

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Other stored client data


💬 5. Engage the Customer

From the client profile you can:

  • Send messages

  • Review purchase history

  • Access customer information for better service

This makes it easy to quickly reconnect with customers while working in-store.
