How to Claim a Custom Bonus in Heartland Without an Active Loyalty Program

Redeem custom OneShop bonuses in Heartland when no loyalty program is active.

1. Add a Customer and an Item

  • Make sure a customer is added to the ticket.

  • Add at least one item to the ticket (a bonus can only be applied if there’s an item).


2. Check for Available Bonuses

  • Look for the “Number of Rewards” indicator at the bottom of the screen.

  • If it shows a reward, tap “Claim Rewards and Bonus.”


3. Review the Bonus in OneShop

  • OneShop will display the bonus details (e.g., 10% off).

  • Confirm that this is the correct bonus for the customer.


4. Redeem the Bonus

  • Tap “Redeem” in OneShop.

  • This will remove the bonus from the customer’s profile for tracking purposes.

Important: Custom rewards are not automatically applied to the Heartland ticket.


5. Manually Apply the Discount

  • Create a matching coupon or discount in Heartland (e.g., a 10% off coupon).

  • Apply this coupon to the ticket manually.


6. Optional: Reverse a Redemption

  • If needed, you can remove the reward to return the bonus to the customer’s profile.


7. Complete the Sale

  • Finalize the checkout as normal with the applied discount.
