Updated over 3 months ago

1. Setting Up the Customer Check-In

  • Ensure you have a OneShop customer-facing tablet available.

  • Customers can check in anytime, anywhere, even before a transaction starts.

2. Creating or Attaching a Customer Profile

  • If the customer already exists in Heartland, they will be attached when a new ticket is opened.

  • If they don’t exist, they will be prompted to create a profile with:

    • Name

    • Email

    • Phone (or other required details)

  • The customer profile is automatically created in Heartland after submission.

3. Viewing Customer Check-In on a Ticket

  • To capture the customer in Heartland, you must add an item to the ticket—this creates a ticket number.

  • Once an item is added, a customer bar appears at the bottom, showing:

    • Customer name

    • Points balance

  • The customer will update on the ticket as additional items are added or when you proceed to payment.

4. Redeeming Rewards

  • If rewards are available, tap Claim Rewards to access the OneShop profile.

  • Tap Redeem to apply rewards directly in Heartland as either:

    • Coupon – Discount applied across items

    • Payment Type – Discount deducted from the total amount

5. Customizing Reward Redemption Settings

  • The coupon or payment type option is set up with the OneShop team.

  • Contact your OneShop representative to customize how discounts are applied in Heartland.
