Using the OneShop Customer-Facing Tablet for Loyalty with Lightspeed R

1. Setting Up the Customer-Facing Tablet

  • Ensure you have a OneShop customer-facing tablet available.

  • Customers can check in at any time—before or during the transaction.


2. Checking In a Customer

  • Start a new ticket with no customer assigned.

  • Keep the OneShop cashier-facing view open to monitor check-ins.

  • When a customer checks in, the page will refresh automatically, displaying:

    • Customer name

    • Points balance

    • Available rewards


3. Applying Rewards to a Ticket

  • Tap the OneShop loyalty button to access available rewards.

  • If no item is on the ticket, add an item first.

  • Once an item is added, the OneShop loyalty button will show available rewards.


4. Redeeming Rewards

  • If a reward is available, tap Redeem to apply it in Lightspeed.

  • Discounts can be applied as:

    • Coupon – Discount spread across items

    • Payment type – Discount deducted from the total


5. Removing Rewards (If Needed)

  • If the customer changes their mind, open the OneShop loyalty button and select Remove Rewards to undo the redemption.


6. Completing the Checkout

  • Once the customer is checked in, all earned points are automatically added upon checkout.

  • No manual input is needed—points apply instantly when the transaction is completed.
