Sending a Test Email or Text Message from a Broadcast

Before sending or scheduling a broadcast in OneShop, you can send a test to review the content and get approval.

1. Why Send a Test?

Sending a test allows you to:
Preview the broadcast before sending it to customers.
Get approval from a manager or owner.
Ensure formatting and content look correct.


2. Preparing Your Test Broadcast

Before sending a test, make sure:
Your text or email content is filled out—if empty, the test option won't be available.
✔ You have a valid email address or phone number to send the test to.


3. How to Send a Test Broadcast

  1. Navigate to your broadcast in OneShop.

  2. Ensure your text or email content is filled in.

  3. Enter the email(s) or phone number(s) you want to send the test to.

    • You can send it to yourself or multiple team members.

  4. Click "Send Test".

  5. You'll receive a confirmation message that the test was sent.

  6. The test message should arrive in seconds or minutes via email or text.


4. Finalizing & Sending Your Broadcast

✔ After reviewing and approving the test message:

  • Click "Schedule Broadcast" to send it at a later time.

  • Click "Send Broadcast" to send it immediately.


5. Pro Tip

🔹 If you don’t see the email or phone number test option, double-check that your broadcast message is filled out.
