Adding Customers to OneShop Platform

Learn how to add a new client profile in OneShop, enabling easy note-taking and follow-up without needing a transaction.

1. Access the Clients Section

  • Go to the Clients section via the bottom menu or the left-hand menu bar in OneShop.


2. Initiate Client Addition

  • Click the + button to open the client creation form.


3. Enter Client Information

  • Fill in the following details:

    • First Name and Last Name

    • Email and Phone Number

    • Address (if applicable)

  • Custom Tags: Add any tags for easy categorization (e.g., “VIP” or “New Customer”).

  • Opt-In Status: If the client consents, select the option for Text Messaging Opt-In or allow the client to accept the opt-in directly.


4. Save the New Client Profile

  • Once all information is entered, click Add Client.

  • This adds the client to your list, enabling immediate note-taking and follow-up.


5. Sync with POS (If Applicable)

  • In some POS systems, adding a client in OneShop will push the profile to the POS.

  • For others, add the profile in the POS separately, ensuring the phone number or email matches for automatic merging in OneShop.


6. Locate the Client for Follow-Up

  • The new client will appear in your Client Book (on the clienteling platform) or in the Admin Client List for future reference.
