Understanding Client Filters

This guide provides a detailed overview of how to use client filters across the OneShop platform to segment and find specific client lists.

Updated over 8 months ago

1. Access the Client Filter

  • The Client Filter can be accessed throughout the OneShop platform wherever client lists are available (e.g., broadcast emails, client pages).

  • It enables you to target specific client segments based on various criteria, allowing for highly customized list creation.

2. Core Client Filters

  • Phone Number, Email, and Address: Filter clients based on having any of these details on their profile.

    • This is an OR filter, meaning clients with either a phone number, an email, or both will appear.

  • Customer Name: Search clients by first or last name. You can add multiple names to create a list of specific individuals.

  • Phone or Email Specificity: Search for clients using an exact phone number or email address.

3. Purchase-Based Filters

  • Sale Date:

    • After/Before: Define a date range for purchases (e.g., clients who bought between October 1-10).

  • Number of Sales: Filter by clients who made a specific number of purchases.

    • Use greater than or less than values to find clients with a certain purchase frequency.

  • Recent Sales: Identify clients with a sale in the last X days, months, or years.

  • First Sale: Find clients based on their first purchase date.

4. Product-Based Filters

  • Brands: Search by one or multiple brands to find clients who bought specific products.

  • Colors, Categories, and Sizes: Refine client lists based on product attributes pulled from your POS system.

  • Styles/SKUs and Descriptions: Search for specific items or descriptions if you know certain product details (e.g., “red floral dress”).

5. Salesperson and Location Filters

  • Sold By: Filter by salesperson to see clients they assisted.

  • Shopped At: Find clients who visited a specific store location.

  • Total Sales: View clients based on their total spending in your store.

6. Engagement and Custom Tagging

  • Not Shopped In: Filter for clients who haven’t shopped in a set period, such as 30 or 90 days.

  • Tags: Use custom tags (e.g., “VIP” or “local”) for additional segmentation.

  • Last Contacted: Find clients based on when they were last reached out to through OneShop.

7. Special Date Filters

  • Birthday and Anniversary Month: Target clients with birthdays or anniversaries in a particular month, ideal for special occasion marketing.

8. Client Assignment Filters (Clienteling Platform)

  • Assigned Clients: Filter by clients assigned to specific team members.

  • Sold By and Never Sold By: View clients assigned but never assisted by a salesperson.

9. Location Assignment

  • Store Location: For multi-location retailers, designate a client’s default store.

10. Subscription Status

  • Text and Email Opt-Ins: Identify clients based on their opt-in status for texts or emails.

11. Loyalty Program Filters

  • Active and Lifetime Loyalty Points: Track clients’ current and accumulated loyalty points.

  • Active and Lifetime Visits: Identify loyalty program members with ongoing or total visits.

  • External Loyalty Rewards: (Available with POS integration) Track rewards from third-party systems.

Using these filters allows for precise and targeted client segmentation in OneShop, helping to maximize the effectiveness of marketing and customer outreach efforts.
